IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR A FULL
SHUTDOWN:
Press the EMERGENCY STOP button. Either in
the scan room, on the wall to the left of the door as you enter,
or in the computer room to the right of the door.
ORDERLY FULL SHUTDOWN:
At the Signa Console (The large white console
in front of the window, with black and orange screens):

Touch the button located
on the top right of the plasma screen |

Touch the button |

C. |
A confirm box will appear.
Touch to confirm the shutdown. |

D. |
When the computer prompt
appears on the plasma screen, type:
SD <Enter> |
At the ANMR Console (The monitor to the right
of the Signa console):

From the
FILE menu, select ‘QUIT’ |

B. |
In any window
with root privileges, type,
Shutdown Now <Enter> |
After both the Signa and ANMR computers are
turned off:

Go into the
computer room. |
| |
B. |
Find the
power distribution cabinet (the large gray cabinet nearest
the door). |

C. |
Open the
cabinet and press the "FULL OFF" button. |
